Life on Long Island – What Does It Mean To Me?
Making ART may be a wonder drug that keeps people young and active as they age. Georgia O’Keefe painted till she was 99. Pablo Picasso kept reinventing his art into his 90’s and Grandma Moses started painting seriously when she was 78. Their art frequently reflected their lives and environment. In this exhibition, Islip Art Museum and AARP present art that reflects life on Long Island.
